BVIslander sprint star, Ashley Kelly, secured gold in the 400m finals at the Aliann Pompey Invitational Track and Field Meet in Guyana, over the weekend.

Kelly ended the race in a time of 51.92s, just ahead of Jamaican sprinter, Rushell Clayton.

Following the race, Kelly expressed that she was proud of her performance, and looking forward for the other meets ahead.
